remix of "Porpoise Song", one of the most popular cuts
from the acclaimed "Pacific
Drift" album.
The Prefuse 73 mix came about when Nobody toured with Prefuse,
Beans and Fourtet this past Fall. Nobody also DJ'd the recent
Savath and Savalas release party in NYC. The Prefuse mix includes
features the vocals re-sung by Savath and Savalas (his new project
on Warp), plus instrumental beats and a Savath and Savalas accappella.
All versions are exclusive to this 12" only!
The original Nobody cover of the Monkees "Porpoise Song"
is included here in both vocal (featuring Chris Gunst) and instrumental
formats. The instrumental is exclusive to this 12"s as are
the 2 new tracks. "The Loiusa Ashby Appreciation Association"
is as bangin' a Nobody track as we've heard complete with piano
stabs and a lil' bossa swing.
